Mioko Yamaguchi (Japanese: 山口美央子; born the 22 March 1959) is a japanese singer, writer and composer blending elements of traditionally inspired japanese music and themes with diverse music influences ranging from AOR, jazz, fusion, reggae and synthpop. She made a brief singing carrier from 1980 to 1985 during which she released 3 studio albums and 1 best-of. From mid 80's, she withdrew to the background to compose songs for other japanese singers like Miki Imai, Yuki Saitou, CoCo (41), Qlair, Masayuki Suzuki, Isako Washio, Seiko Sato, Seika Iwashita, Watanabe Naoyoshi, Junichi Inagaki, Tomoyo Harada, Rie Tomosaka, Yukari Tamura, Marina Watanabe. She made her comeback as a singer artist in january 2019 with the release of Tokisakashima.
