Israeli Arab singer, actress, and songwriter, born 11 June 1975 in Rameh, Galilee, Israel. She represented Israel in the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest together with Noa. They finished 16th with the song "There Must Be Another Way." In 2013 Awad replaced Shlomit Levi as the female singer for the Israeli folk metal band Orphaned Land, performing on the album "All Is One".
