Romanian comedy actor born on August 8, 1924 in Bucharest, died 22 November, 2013 in Dusseldorf, son of a German showman and a Romanian mother. Mircea Crisan was famous during the 50's and 60's. He debuted at age 19, at Barașeum Theatre, as one of the pioneers of comedy actors in film and television. He left România during a tournament at Paris Olympia Theatre in 1968 and later settled in Germany. In Germany, he continued his successful artistic career. In his last years, he changed his name to Mircea Krishan.
