Musician / Composer / Producer of Children's Music and Jazz
Mirko Šouc (1933) is a Serbian pianist, composer, music producer and jazz musician. He received the "Nišville Jazz Festival Award" for the year 2010 (Niš, Serbia), for his life-work. Already in the 1960s he was named one of the best European Jazz Accordion Players. His life-long idoles were musicians like piano players Oskar Piterson and Erol Garner, trumpeter Charlie Parker or guitarist Barny Kessel.
