A.k.a. 榎本ミサエ / Misae Enomoto
Stage name 榎本 美佐江 (Misae Enomoto) Japanese geisha, female singer, actress born in Saitama prefecture. (March 13, 1924 - September 23, 1998) She was a student of 大村能章歌謡学院 (Nōshō Ōmura Kayou School). In 1946 she joined Teichiku records and made a record debut. At that time, boogie woogie such as 服部 良一 (Ryoichi Hattori) and 笠置シヅ子 (Shizuko Kasagi) were prevalent so Japanese style like her did not hit. In 1947 she made a film debut with a maid role. In 1949, she moved to Victor records. In 1950, at the Hawaii live she was singing in the form of a geisha and she got a big cheer, and after that it became her geisha style. In 1955, professional baseball pitcher 金田 正一 (Masaichi Kaneda) and she entered living together, she retired from the entertainment business. In 1960, Kaneda and her married. In 1963 she got divorced with Kaneda and she returned to the entertainment business due to the fact that Takarazuka Revue graduate 雅 章子 (Akiko Miyabi) who had been a lover of Kaneda in 1961 gave birth to the son of Kaneda.
