After many years of spinning records luke decided that he wanted to take a step back from Dj’ing and focus on producing music and for the last 5-6 years this is exactly what he has done! Luke decided to completely make the move from DJ’ing by retitiring the name Sound Off and creating a new Alter ego to suit his new sound … that alter ego is MISERY CUTS. Misery Cuts sound is a fresh and unique new take on the concept of the Hard sound and what hardcore music can be . Since taking up the name Misery Cuts he has been stunning crowds in Aberdeen and Edinburgh with his live / dj set as well as having his first highly acclaimed release on Aberdeen’s NO DEMOS ACCEPTED Records (NDA007) and a track of his which was remixed by DJ FREAK and released on N.Dustrial Records.
