A.k.a. Crown City Rockers
Emcee Raashan Ahmad, producer Woodstock, keyboardist Kat Ouano, bassist/producer Headnodic, and drummer Max MacVeety. An eclectic bunch (Raashan came from Pasadena, California, Kat hails originally from Wichita, Kansas, Headnodic from Wisconsin, and Max is from Massachusetts) with an interesting past. Formed in Boston and named after their hood, they moved to California after gaining fame on the East Coast. During their move, an 18-wheeler totaled all of the group's instruments and the car they were driving. With the money from the accident, they were able put out their self-titled EP. After releasing the EP and another album, they were asked to change their name, and thus became the Crown City Rockers.
