This was a pseudonym used indiscriminately on many Plaza Music Company / American Record Corporation labels in the 1920s-1930s. Although the name suggests that recordings were jazz, they were almost always conventional dance orchestra recordings and contain little that would interest a jazz collector. Some of the artists who have been reliably identified as having used this pseudonym are listed below. An effort is being made to mention these in the release notes associated with specific releases. Adrian Schubert's Salon Orchestra Domenico Savino And His Orchestra (a.k.a. D. Onivas & Orchestra) Sam Lanin And His Dance Orchestra Lou Gold And His Orchestra Ben Selvin & His Orchestra Willard Robison & His Orchestra Harry Reser & His Orchestra Original Indiana Five California Ramblers Al Friedman's Dance Orchestra Max Terr And His Orchestra Ozzie Nelson And His Orchestra Noble Sissle And His Orchestra
