Producer
Mitchell is a mixer, producer and BMI songwriter with 20+ years experience. He cut his musical teeth as a guitarist on the NYC punk and new wave scene as an early member of The Fleshtones and other indie bands, headlining at CBGB, Max's Kansas City, the Mudd Club, Irving Plaza/Club 57, Trax, Danceteria, Hurrah, Mercury Lounge and others. He cut his engineering and mixing teeth working for certain iconic bands of the time, including The Fleshtones, Suicide (Alan Vega and Martin Rev, minimalist progenitors of using drum machines, loops and analog synths), Boston's The Real Kids (John Felice and company), Arto Lindsay (DNA) and others. He produces and mixes current neo-soul female artists and pop-collage artists, combining vintage and modern sounds.
