She was impressed by Barbra Streisand and studied under マーサ三宅 (Martha Miyake), 国分友里恵 (Yurie Kokubu), 本間勇輔 (Yuusuke Honma) and others. She played an active part in jazz-club · Hotel · Live House in Tokyo triggered by the winning of the Ginza Saizeriya Newcomer Jazz Vocal Contest Grand Champion Tournament. She has performed live activities and recording activities as a female lead vocal of funk band CHAOS formed by 鳴瀬喜博 (Yoshihiro Naruse) when she was in school. She is participating in many recordings as a back singer. Her pseudonym includes "Nana", "Mizuki", "Dizaro Mizuki", "piece of cake".
