Band,
World and Folk
Adventure music band Mloci formed on October 14th 1984. Their music can be described as happy folk with epic lyricks full of easy humour, satire and ironic optimism about relationships, social, public and cultural issues, food, women, drinks and cars (Wartburg and Trabant). The fun spirit of the band is visible in their image, speach and the fact that the band’s original name was Kumatox - a brand of rat poison. Most of the lysrics, speach and also the website www.mloci.sk are in an eastern Slovak dialect called “Šariščina”. Live concerts are disturbed by bursts of laughter. The band received many prizes at contests and festivals.
