British session bassist, songwriter, producer, solo artist, and author. He began his professional career in 1968, after having studied physics and mathematics at the University of Sussex, and has since provided his services, both live and in the studio, to over 80 chart artists, ranging from The Michael Schenker Group. to Charles Aznavour, and Dollar to Gil Evans. He has also provided contributions to many TV themes, and film soundtracks, as well as being in several bands. Nowadays, he mainly concentrates on his solo releases, though he still sessions when the occasion arises.
