Modest Menzinsky

Operatic tenor, born in East Galizia (today in Ukraina) April 28, 1875, died Stockholm, Dec 11, 1935. Engagement at the Kungliga Operan (Royal Swedish Opera) in Stockholm 1904-1910, with guest appearances until 1915-1916. Engaged at the opera in Köln, Germany, 1910-1926, after which he returned to Stockholm working as a music teacher. He recorded c. 30 titles for HMV, most in German and Ukrainian.
