WORLD IMITATION PRODUCTIONS (WImP) was an art/music collective active in Los Angeles, California during the years 1977-1982. World Imitation morphed into a band and finally a production company, releasing a handful of records by Monitor, and a single by a surf band version of Monitor called The Tikis.
