Album NL 2009 on Strange Life Records label
Electronic (Drone, Experimental, Ambient)
A storm is forming over the vast northern Atlantic Ocean. On the edge of the outern Scottish islands, a small airplane tries te make it in time to Bara Beach airfield. Omnious clouds are drifting low towards the sandy runway... The is just on of the few visions you might experience when listening to this exquisite ambient drone album from Dutch modular synthesist Mono-Poly. With a vast array of modular synthesizers, Mono-Poly sketches landscapes and adventures, not so much with melodies and structure, but with sounds that seem to come from nature itself. Atlantic is Mono-Poly's sophmore album. His debut album, Zond3, was released in Japan in 2008.
