First in 1994 Monoloop represented straight Drum´n´Bass at the time and was taken part decisively in building up the northern Germany Drum´n´Bass scene. Being one of the DJs at the legendary “Powerhouse” he was also performing at the “Mojo” and the “Marquee”, both situated on the Reeperbahn. His first singles have been released on the famous Hamburg label ”Fischkopf“ where he was also remixing the track „Dreckmarketing“ for the Hamburg band Fischmob. After a short creative break being influenced by UK Garage and House tracks his style changed into UK Garage / 2 Step. In this period the track “Shame” has been released on Tune Records in the year 2000. In the more and more developed UK Garage & 2 Step scene of Hamburg Monoloop was in great demand. He was resident dj at the infamous „Lounge“ and the inimitable „Brooke´s Motel“. Secondary he has produced different acts like Jovan (Chinamoon Rec.), Motel 21 (Sugaspin), Syntax Error (Kontor), Desto (Fadersport), Nortcutz (Kingdom Kome Cutz) and has done remixes for D.O.N.S., Oral Tunerz, Jay Frog, F & Martinengo, Krieger & Feuersänger, Tapedeck Project, Melissa Tkautz, Inusa, Young MC, Bigworld, Swen G and many more. Now he´s back with his single „Traeumen“ which is perfect suited for the hot summer days. The catchy melody and the distinctive vocal are non-reversible. The whole package of „Traeumen“ includes remixes by Dirty Sunchez, Thomas Heat vs. Hot´n´Dirty, Die Hoerer, and guaranteed a heavy rotation by all djs and clubbers.
