Band,
Rock
Formed in July 1990 in Szczecin by Skullcrusher guitarist/lead vocalist Piotr Tomaszek and drummer Paweł Urban from Maldoror, after feeling both dissatisfied with the musical direction of their previous bands. Bassist Loro, also formerly of Maldoror later joined them. For a short time, they were joined by Dariusz Domosud from Merciless Death, who was replaced by Konrad Lizak in December. At the time, Morbid Vision had written 4 songs which they recorded in February 1991 at the ARP Studio in Szczecin during 3 days, plus 2 new tunes and one improvised tune entitled “Ke?”, on the debut demo "Demonstration Of Force". Some shows followed, though they went on hiatus as they couldn’t find a proper place to rehearse. The band reunited again later, writing new material for a demo, including new versions of old songs and new tunes like “Into The Mirror” and “N.D.O.”. In early August, they entered the ARP Studio again to record the demo "Visions Of The Morbid Rites". After doing some shows, Loro presented his resignation. Baron Records subsequently released the new material. They spent some months looking for a new bassist, in the meantime composing a new song entitled “Tears In The Rain” – a video was made for it. In mid-1993, Urban left the band to study at the Szczecin Wyższa Szkoła Morska, making way for Kraśniak. This formation did some concerts in Dębno, Świnoujście and Berlin – they also played the S'thrashy'dle festival on June the 24th. Morbid Vision broke-up after the event, due to the member's academic obligations and the difficult situation of the Polish music industry at the time. Reunited again in 2015.
