Mord

Mord started out in 1997, as a one man project.The founder Mr Killalot Homicide began to compose and record music wich he felt captured a unique horror-sounding atmosphere, something that many of the present Black Metal bands had failed to do. At the end 1998 several songs had been recorded, but not released, since Mord was never ment to be a one man band. The search for competent musicians, wich shared Mr Killalot´s wiew on the music, was at the time not successfull. There were many talented and skilled musicians that tried out for the band, but none of them had the burning passion for the innovative goal of Mord nor the capacity to be a part of the creative process and therefore Mord continued to concist of only one man. Until the year of 2000 Mord was temporarily laid to rest, and Mr Killalot concentrated on his drumming position in the Death Metal band Raptus. Later in the year of 2000 Mr Killalot met Metal Maniac, who possessed all those priorities he previosly had searched for. Mord became the main priority again and the creative process exploded.
