DJ/Producer from New York, United States. An Artist With a Vision Growing up in Paris for a decade prior to moving to New York, Mordkey was predisposed to developing an eclectic music taste. Mordkey discovered music production on his own from a young age. One day, his parents let him use their MacBook Pro, which was new at the time. He spotted the guitar icon at the bottom of the screen, and that’s how he discovered Garageband. In 2009, he received the most defining present - his own Macbook. A habit for Garageband transformed into a passion that fueled his dreams of becoming a music producer. That’s when he let go of his amateur program for Logic Pro X. After finishing high school, Mordkey knew he was destined to produce music professionally. He experimented with hip hop for seven years, which was his favorite music genre at the time. In 2016, he switched to house music. “It’s one of the only music genres through which you can be your own artist as well as music producer,” he says. Mordkey found that the benefits were more noteworthy - and so was his talent for producing House. He released his first single “Beautiful You” in summer 2017, a collaboration with Mastrovita. Currently, he is fine tuning his art and planning to release more projects in the near future. He hopes to score a place among the leading artists in the business.
