Japanese film critic. Born in Shibuya-ku, Tokyo. (November 26, 1932 - 11 August 1991) He graduated from Waseda University Faculty of Letters in 1956. There are writers Jiro Ikishima and Nobuhiko Kobayashi in classmates. After graduating, he joined Nippon Columbia and worked as a director. After leaving Japan Columbia, he went to the USA. After returning to Japan he was transferred from Japan Crown to Warner Pioneer (now Warner Music Japan), and after leaving the company changed to a free lighter.
