Mr Average, aka Steve Lindsey, released his new Swinging Suburbia album on CD in September 2009. The 11-track album, published by Avo's own ElevateMusic label, features a number of songs which he started to compose in the first Deaf School heyday and comes with an autographed leaflet telling you about each song. Deaf school member Ian Ritchie played on a total of three tracks and there is a track 'Rain Song' with Bette and Max Ripple,
