A.k.a. Carl Thobane
Born December 23, 1978 in Ndofaya, Soweto, South Africa, Mr. C started listening to hip-hop around 1991. He briefly co-hosted a hip-hop show on Voice of Soweto with a DJ called J-Dee. A regular at the saturday afternoon sessions at Le Club, in downtown Johannesburg, rocking and mingling with all sort of people who've now made names for themselves in SA hip-hop. Starting a label called Landmynz Entertainment in 2003 with a couple of friends which signed a clique called Landmynz, comprised of himself, Neon, Caveman and deePea. The group went on to release their first project, a mixtape called "Perigo Minas Volume One". which made a huge impact on the local scene in South Africa and was downloaded about 300 000 times on the harambeafrica.net website. Producing most of the Landmynz tracks on that mixtape. He also produced a track on Nthabi's "From The Streets To The Lab" EP called "Bad Luck" feat X-Rate. He also featured on a song on BattleKat's Beats Against the Beast compilation, alongside Reason, Proverb, Zubz and Maggz.
