The bass dips deep and the rhythms churn with hypnotic swirls on this collection of dubbed out mood pieces. We're in the outer reaches of space and time here and there's no way home. Is there anyone else out there? We don't know and, so far, no one has a way to know. All we do know is that we are here on this spec of dust adrift in an impenetrable vastness and completely dependent on that spec for everything we have. We are the spirits wandering the wastelands and searching for some connection to something outside ourselves. We live and die in the blink of a cosmic eye and wonder if there's anything out there that's paying attention. We cluster in anointed spaces and pretend to commune with sacred intellects whom we've never seen and have no proof exist in any way. We bank our future on bloated egos imagining answers to questions conceived in vacuums of ignorance. The Mother-ship is dying. It's time to stop counting on hallucinations and neurotic fantasies to come along and save us.
