Composed, performed and produced at Blood 'n' Tongue, Vancouver, July, 2008. Remastered for digital release in June, 2010. The set begins with "Breath", built on a field recording of walking along a gravel trail. Sounds of motorcycles swirl around the traveler as crusty old theater organ music is sucked from its vinyl source through a vortex of digital manipulation. A disembodied voice from a 70's Yoga instructional record feebly attempts to offer guidance to the traveler Next, "Tracks" takes the traveler on a passenger train along the North West coast of Washington state. A deep subsonic electronic pulse lurks in the lower realms while washes of a warehouse air vent and a vinyl sourced Dutch band organ drift about the mix. Finally, "Feathers" allows the traveler to arrive at a peaceful backyard garden. Birds chirp pleasantly while an electric bass guitar burrows aimlessly through the earth. An absent minded acoustic guitar wanders around with a vinyl sourced religious whistler and theater organ drifting about the air.
