All the compositions contained in this collection where created utilizing audio source material derived exclusively from live TV broadcasts. The stereo audio output from a Hi-Fi VCR was patched into a computer for sampling with channels being scanned "blind" in that no video signal was monitored while searching for sound sources. This process allowed the focus to remain entirely on the aural qualities without visual distractions. Once an interesting sound source was encountered, it was quickly sampled and then edited and processed in the computer into a workable component. The end result is dark, dream like and otherworldly in a primarily ambient style. Composed, performed and produced at Blood 'n' Tongue, Vancouver, October & November, 2003.
