A product of Chicago Illinois's Westside,Makin Noise's cultural roots date back to the early 1970's.Weekend parties thrown by family gave him and his 2 brothers the front stage as they all had to perform their renditions of the latest tunes. His Father was a DJ on the Westside and played all the local bars in the area.The Smoothed out soulbrothaisque Capricorn has a natural knack for orchestrating music on a mack,sunny,melodic,funked out thuggush,drama,love vibe.With a record collection of at least 100 thousand records,his taste in music is a wide range of Eclectic tunes. "I owe alot to my parents and Grandparents,mainly my mother.She always used to jam out in the crib man and play the hotness!!! I truly get my drive and inspiration to do music from her." In the Early 80's his parents split up causing them to migrate east to his grandfather's house in Long Island,N.Y.This is where he got his start in Breaking and Djaying. As he grew so did his natural talent and hunger to be apart of the music field. He officially embarked into the dj realms in 1990 as he worked hard to earn paper for his first set of 1200's. After djaying High School parties and house parties,he got into djaying clubs,& college radio.His first taste of radio was in 1993@Adelphi University's 90.3 WBAU. Eventually he carried onto other shows such as: WUSB-2000("Ghetto Radio") WRHU-1999-2000("HEAT FM) Not considered your average DJ,Makin Noise has spit a few bars.You can hear his lyrical gift on a copy of the 1999 Centrifungal Force/Cryptic One Compilation-("The Persecussion of Hip-Hop") on a track entitled"One man against the world"by his moniker"Mr.NOISE" in which he wrote and produced. Production is more of his craft.He's done tons of commercial and ghost production. Nowadays he is currently working and finishing up on his latest release set for Fall 2008"Eclectricities of N.O.I.S.E." In 2004 He caught the acting bug landing a role on the now defunct Chappelle's Show"Episode 1 (The barbershop scene")where he plays one of the barbers that may not let Dave Walk out of the Barbershop once they discover the 55million dollar man's new fortune! He has also been in a few music video's Shaggy's "Broadway" & 50 Cent's "Out of Control". Makin Noise is ready to set trends and take the music in a more soulful and conscious direction.
