Lassie Returns is a science fiction rock opera set in the year 2019, in which 50s celebrity and dog icon Lassie is cloned and commissioned to save the status quo and civilization from itself. As Lassie returns to aid the remaining members of the Miller family, she finds herself in a future where her former home has been foreclosed and is now auctioned to celebrity and politician personalities. Without a choice, Lassie follows along until experiencing flashbacks of animal cruelty and other atrocities the former "Lassies" were forced to endure. She finds herself trapped and torn in a nightmarish future, representing a dead American dream.
