Album US 2002 on Autometrik label
Electronic and Spoken Word (Experimental)
Wasp Tones is the second album by Mummers (Eype). This marks the beginning of a "duo phase" by David Seward Lewis and Loachfillet. However, the quartet is featured on two tracks. This album fuses more song-like structures with their pulsations of weirdness and ambient electronics. Music that an insect might wiggle to in the light of a world set to flicker. Dense and disjointed, stretched out and distended by heavy rhythms and mellow musique concrete suites.
