Band,
Murder Weapons is a five-piece, Shock Rock band from Seattle, Washington, U.S.A. The band was started in 2012 by Jesse Orr, then systematically the line-up seemed to fall in place. Jesse recruited Luke Green to play Keyboards, after playing with him in Mary Abaddon. Then Jesse was approached by Corey Wittenborn, who played rhythm guitar in Endless Sunder. The only piece missing was a singer and lyricist. Seattle veteran, Dawn Wood was that missing piece. She became recommended to Jesse from Westin Halvorsen & Asher Vast after she has recorded vocals on a track for Desillusion. Murder Weapons works with Galen Waling (drummer virtuoso of Left Spine Down, Pig and Hate Department) and Aaron Nichols of Deathbed Repentance and The Spiritual Bat. By the time Murder Weapons reached the end of it's first new year, the band was already opening for several national acts. The sound of Murder Weapons has been described as Shock Rock Horror Industrial. Samples from actual serial killer trials, horror flicks and other intriguing auditory terrors are amply delivered by this quintet, punctuating the tracks with bloody theatrics. Live shows feature a "splash zone" of blood, glitter and various body parts. Audiences have become accustomed to the delightful debauchery of this "Murder Therapy" by nail bat, featuring gory visuals, simulated torments and blood splattered cage dancers.
