Limited edition black vinyl & digital Released by bore hole July 2018 Illustrated by @sonyapetri When we launched bore hole last April, our initial plan was to release our friends and friends of friends from all around the globe, but with the the flow of time and the opening of our very own Клуб (@kisloty), I think the focus has somehow shifted to showcasing and, especially, growing and motivating our local talent. That is not to say that we will never release a foreign act or ask a Dutch friend to remix a track, but do expect more ex-USSR natives on the releases to come. Preparing this release from Muscles & Hate, who is also known as Synkronized, was not at all an easy decision or task. We actually mastered it at the same time when HOLE01 was being planned, but since then changed our minds many times – including a full-on official cancellation. And yet here we are a year later, playing these very same tracks that just don't get old in our sets, and getting more and more acclaimed feedback from our new friends at De School, Digital Tsunami and others. This is a very special release for me personally because I heard all of these tracks during my first visit to the now defunct Rabitza, a truly cult club in Moscow that inspired us in a lot of ways (although Rustem and Julia were much closer to it) and was violently shut down by police. Not quite sure now if I was on acid at the time or not, but seeing the place to Synkronized's live performance for the first time is something I hold very dear, and especially 'Labyrinth' that was playing right at the time of my first entry to the Cabinet dancefloor, which actually prompted me to post an instagram story saying I am too old for this shit. -Sasha Released by: bore hole EP release date: 30 July 2018
