Frank Rice (2) ("Mustard") and Ernest Stokes ("Gravy", his middle initial given as either W. or L.) were a hillbilly comedy act formed in 1933 in Wilson, North Carolina. They recorded for Bluebird in 1938 and for Gotham ca. 1950, and appeared in several films in the 1940s.
