Canadian psychedelic/garage band from Ottawa, Ontario founded in 1967. Line up was Allan Duffy (bassist, musical director), Peter Rochon (keyboards), Wayne Derby (lead vocals), Cris Saunders (guitar), and Jon Shank (guitar). Four singles were released between 1968-1970, each with a different, shorter variation on the band's name: • Founded under the name "Mythical Meadow" • 1st single on RCA Victor in 1968 released under the name "A Mythical Meadow" (but advertised the band as "Mythical Meadow") • 2nd single on Quality in 1969 released under the name "Mythical Meadow" • 3rd single on Quality in 1970 released under the name "The Meadow" (advertised as "Formerly Mythical Meadow") • 4th single on Quality in 1970 released under the name "Meadow"
