Nåra is a group consisting of Gunnel Mauritzson, Bjorn Ståbi and Bengan Janson, an ensemble which got together in the autumn of 1997. These three versatile musicians have created distinctive images for themselves over the years in their different fields. Now, together, they have found an exceptionally congenial way of expressing themselves and rapidly gained a large public following. Their music is rooted in Swedish folk music, and performed in a very personal way and with great warmth.
