Talking about contemporary music in Ghana, brings into the picture, a youngman who has devoted all his time, writing and producing music, in a purely Ghanaian style. The man is the virtuose musician, lead guitarist, singer and organist, Nana Kwame Ampadu I. The leader of the 12 piece, African Brothers Band Int., of Ghana. His works have been the talk of Ghana, and the various African and European Countries the group has since toured. The remarkable achievement of this band leader does not only lie in his ability to write music. The depth of his achievement stems from his combination of our social structure - city life and that of our country side, and wearing them together to produce a highly acceptable lyrics for all his songs. This album is a typical musical example of his recent production during the Band's maiden U.S.A. tour this year 1976, which touches more on structure of our society, its men and women relationship which leaves listeners to do more reflections on their lives. Listen to this record carefully absurb the message, and take a clean stock of your very self and you will really agree with the writer of the song that "Emaa Bekum Mmarima". Hear the happy listening, and say "Women Will Kill Men Softly" Have peace, brothers and sisters.
