A.k.a. Bisk
Sub Rosa discovered Naohiro Fujikawa in Hyogo, Japan. Fujikawa, a self-confessed non-musician who delights in "upsetting order in music," found few appreciative ears for his unpredictable cyber-pseudo-jazz inventions back in Japan. A world away the fringe contingent of European drum-n-bass was mining parallel modes of madly disjointed breakbeat-and-sample craft. 1997's dazzling, description-defying STRANGE OR FUNNY HA-HA? established Bisk as a strange familiar of such electronica radicals as Atom Heart and Squarepusher.
