"She was born Oct. 21, 1934, at Hog Creek, to Leonard Sr. and Eva Ahhaitty Cozad. She was raised in Hog Creek and attended schools in Anadarko. She married Enos Svitak on Aug. 25, 1956, and they continued to make their home in the Hog Creek area. She was a homemaker and a member of the Kiowa War Mother's Descendants, Carnegie Victory Club and Native American Church-Kiowa Chapter. She attended Ware's Chapel and was a member of the Kiowa Tribe of Oklahoma. She sang behind the drum with her father and brothers and was a Golden Age contestant in the Women's Cloth division."
