Narcís Cuyàs i Parera


(Vilafranca, 1880-Barcelona, 1953) Catalan photographer and filmmaker. He created the file whose geography, art and ethnology of Catalonia. He is the author of the photographs and, over the years, his sons Enric and Narcís continued Archive. Narcís Cuyas collaborated in 1910 with the production "Iris Films." Some of his films, in this production, were: "El curioso impertinente", "Don Alvaro o la fuerza del sino", "Amor Heroico", "Mar i Cel", "La muerte del tirano" and " Don Quijote de la Mancha. " They did a great job as a photographer and editor of postcard. Regarding the postal Cuyàs House began publishing a collection of Barcelona and on the island of Mallorca. Over time, it expanded the geographic area photographed in the area of Catalonia. In 1988 the House Cuyàs folded and took the bottom Cartographic Institute of Catalonia.
