"Nasser Soumi was born in Palestine in 1948. He studied Fine Arts in Damascus and Paris. Since 1976, he participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions, in Palestine, France, the Arab Region, Europe and in many cities around the world. His work has been shown at the Tokyo Museum, the Madrid National Museum, and the Paris Institute du Monde Arab, Tunis Museum of Modern Art, the French National Fund for Contemporary Art, the Paris Bibliotheque National, and the Baghdad National Museum. Soumi received many awards for his creative works, including the first prize at the Cairo Biennial, Egypt in 1996."
