Composer / Songwriter / Producer of Rock
A.k.a. Kenneth Nathaniel Pyfer
American record producer and songwriter/composer. Nate Pyfer was a founding member of the bands Code Hero, Night Night, and The Moth & The Flame. He also toured as a member of Joshua James’ band during the late 2000s. Pyfer, a resident of Utah County and a staple at Provo’s music enclave, Velour Live Music Gallery, has been producing music for years. But it was only in the fall of 2012 that he quit his day job to focus on music full-time. He’s been the man behind the music for several Utah albums, including LPs from The Moth & the Flame, Polytype, Mideau, Parlor Hawk and, currently, L'Anarchiste. Nate has also collaborated with Kaskade and producer Finn Bjarnson on a number of projects, including co-writing the Grammy-nominated single “Atmosphere” on the eponymous Grammy-nominated album. He has released remixes and collaborations under the pseudonym “Wild Children” with associate producer/songwriter McKay Stevens.
