Varying from classical to pop music, without forgetting traditional music, Nathalie Duchesne is one of those musicians who are eager to learn. She graduated from the Conservatoire de musique et d’art dramatique de Montréal in 2000. Then, she pursued her musical studies at McGill University and at the University of Montreal. Since 2005, she is a member of the Quatuor Orphée, with which collaborated several artists (Antoine Gratton, Elisapie Isaac, Daniel Bélanger) for live performances and recording sessions. During the Festival d’été de Québec, in 2007, she shared the stage with renowned rapper Kanye West on the Plains of Abraham. She also played at the Bell Center with the Trans-Siberian Orchestra and Barry Manilow. Active in the arts community in Québec, Nathalie accompanies, as a violinist and as a singer, the singer-songwriter Amylie (nominated at last ADISQ in 'Artist of the Year' category) and also played for her during the Francofolies de Montréal. Passionate about teaching, Nathalie obtained his Music Education from the University of Quebec at Montreal in 2011. She currently teaches at College Regina Assumpta and is responsible for the concentration strings.
