Rock
National Skyline is an American alternative rock band formed in late 1996 by Jeff Dimpsey (bass) of Hum and Jeff Garber (singer/guitarist/songwriter) of Castor. James Minor (of Blacklist and Compound Red) joined as a touring guitarist in 2000, becoming an official member before the recording of This = Everything. Although the band toured in 2000-2001, Dimpsey did not participate, and - as of January 2018 - National Skyline has yet to perform live since. However, in 2007, Garber - alone - resurrected the National Skyline brand as a solo project, releasing The Last Day EP via MySpace. Two years later, the full length Bliss & Death was released via all major digital music outlets. In the years since, Garber has continued to produce music under the National Skyline name - while much of it is used for film score, a fair amount has also been officially released digitally.
