Review from All Music: Having secured a British record deal on the strength of four songs recorded with Lee Perry, in 1979 Wayne "Native" Jobson returned to Black Ark Studio ready to complete his album. He was too late, Perry's mental state had so frayed that recording there had come nearly to a standstill. Native was left to his own devices. Soon the artist briefly linked up with producer Jack Ruby and his studio band The Black Disciples, cutting "Black Tracks".
