Études – the debut EP of Natse – is the second release from the record label YGAM. Member of the dub duo Nood & Gang, Natse draws his inspiration from reggae, but after discovering electronic music, his compositions headed towards the fields of ambient, electroacoustic, dub, hip-hop and experimental music. Études (meaning "Studies" in French), as its name suggests, is a research work – on electroacoustic composition. Through the three tracks of this EP, Natse connects two different worlds, by blending harmonies and pulsations into an atonal landscape.
