Melodic death metal / metalcore band from Münster, Germany. Formed in summer 2003 by Tobias Buck under the moniker "The Ninth Gate". The name was changed to Neaera in 2004 after they were signed to Metal Blade Records. The band split up in 2015. In 2018 they re-united for some shows.
