The danish band "Neanders Jazzband" was formed in august 1978 at Åbenrå Statsskole as "State School Stompers". In 1981 the member decided to change the band name to Neanders Jazzband. In 2004 they changed the name of the band to "Neanders", as it was as it was easier to remember.
