Nebulae Come Sweet

Nebulae Come Sweet is a 4 piece metal band started in Minsk, Belarus in 2012. The band quickly got public attention due to memorable live performances, which are usually accompanied by the entire staging of light, stylistically matched video background and the images of the musicians. Their sounding can be described as a single melancholic canvas of heavy monolithic riffs and touching lyrical tunes. The first recorded songs appeared on split with a project Difleger (Belarus) released on June, 2013 together with the video for an acoustic cover of Converge’s “Homewrecker”. The title song “Ophelia” was subsequently used as an official soundtrack to the movie “Граф в апельсинах”. In April, 2014 Nebulae Come Sweet announced a tour around Russia together with Challenger Deep (Belarus), and after it the band entered the studio to record their first full-length album. During the next year the trio played several shows in their hometown and performed as a supporting act for Sólstafir and Plebeian Grandstand. On June, 2016 the band released an acoustic and a piano single, which was almost immediately added into the rotation of Belarusian radio “Stalica” and became the song of the month for July, 2016. On November 17, 2016 Nebulae Come Sweet releases their debut studio album “It Is Not The Night That Covers You”. The album features two special guests who provided vocals on the songs: Christopher Bennett of Minsk and Kristoffer Bäckström of Moloken. 10 conceptual songs invited to join an obscure and spellbinding 47-minutes long journey through the sinister night. As a result, "It Is Not The Night That Covers You" was awarded as the best debut album of 2016 in Belarus by belarusian music experts Experty.by the next year and the band itself was marked as a debut band of the year by Rock-Profi Awards 2017, a belarusian award presented on the opinion of the musicians of the country. The two songs from the release appeared on music compilations from UK (Terrorizer #275 Fear Candy features “Le N”) and Ukraine (Electric Funeral Café vol.3 features “Santa Sangre”), which were published and distributed worldwide. On March 16, 2017 Nebulae Come Sweet performed its studio album live with an extended staff of musicians and went on further shows in Russia and Ukraine with a new member, Anastasya Skvortsova, who joined the trio as a regular cellist. In August Nebulae Come Sweet announces an extended-play, consisting of acoustic versions of either album songs or new ones, planned as bonus to the previous release at first but considered to be issued as a separate release by the musicians later. The band also cooperates with an independent Belarusian clothing brand “Manchak Apparel”. Nebulae Come Sweet’s lyrics is mostly inspired by ethereal poetry by T.S. Eliot. Releases: 2013 - Nebulae Come Sweet & Difleger Split 2016 - Ophelia (Single) 2016 – It Is Not The Night That Covers You (Album) Compilations: Terrorizer #275 Fear Candy (features “Le N”) Electric Funeral Café vol.3 (features “Santa Sangre”)
