Nedy started his music career at the age of 4, performing in many venue's together with his parents. He was born in Bulgaria and grew up in Germany, where he attended music school and studied classical music. At the age of 14 years Nedy rebelled and started his first rock band, Damon. During the 90's, Nedy formed his next band, Minaton, They were a combination of Bulgarian and German artists who formed a large following all across Europe, often performing to crowds of up to 35,000 people at festivals like Ukraine's Kahovka Festival and Poland's Sopot Festival. Rockland Riders performed alongside artists like Deep Purple, Ronnie James Dio, Nazareth, Uriah Heap, Eric Burdon, Manfred Mann's Earth Band, Roger Chapman, Saga, Hooters, Simple Minds and Bob Geldof. It was during this time that Nedy established his own state-of-the-art recording studio. Nedy's music and producing skills have been sought after from all over the world. Aside from producing and writing the material for the 9 albums he released with his previous bands and as a solo artist, Nedy also wrote and produced the music for the Rockland Riders Radio Band. His composing credits include the music for a 1999 Hyundai Car Commercial & Musical, the World Championships of Ice Hockey in 2001 and the hymns for the Hamburg, Hanover 96 and Magdeburg Soccer clubs in Germany. Inspired by the music of his favorite composers Ennio Morricone, John Barry, Hans Zimmer, John Debney and John Williams, Nedy then moved into the world of composing for feature films and television. His first completed project, the score to the sci-fi film, Humanity's End, was reviewed by many as one of the best movie soundtrack albums of 2008. Using a live orchestra and choir, this soundtrack opened the doors for him to write for more films. In 2011 he composed the music for 2 more films, Alien Armageddon and Fable. 2013 found him writing the music for 5 more film projects which also brought him the opportunity to write and produce his first music video, God Forgive, which rewarded him several international awards. In 2014 he scored The Necklace, then produced, directed and wrote the music for 2 more music videos for his band. In March of 2014, Nedy started production his own film called The Silent Angel. While assuming the directors role, he also wrote the complete film score, once again using a full orchestra. This film will be released in 2017 and will be presented to the international film festivals . Nedy: "Having the chance to work with the orchestra made me realize just how connected I was to the music I rebelled against in my youth. Writing for film offers so many different ways to communicate the emotions I want to convey. My focus now is to keep creating the opportunities that will allow me to keep exploring this style of writing and further my musical journey. I have my own production facility and an amazing pool of talent at my disposal, that makes me confident that this will happen." During his career, Nedy has developed the necessary skills and knowledge to explore a large palette of styles and emotions. From classical film score and the soundtracks for films of varying genres, to rock, pop, industrial , jazz, opera, EDM and punk music, there's not much he's not capable of covering. - IMDb Mini Biography By: Ute Ehrenberg
