Neon was a band with four members from Eindhoven, The Netherlands. They were founded in 1979/1980 and existed until 1985. Their only release was a 12" with five tracks in 1981 on Sublabel, a daughter label of Torso. They played various times as a support act for Echo & the Bunnymen. Their postpunk / cold wave style has been compared to the likes of Joy Division or The Cure. Guitarist/singer Adri Schrover works since 1990 as a cameraman for film and TV documentaries. Former drummer San Graatsma nowadays runs Mosaique Vivant, an organisation which promotes African artists.
