Album UK 2004 on Rephlex label
Dance (Acid House)
An early version of this EP that included AFX's remix of 808 State's "Flow Coma" was planned to appear on Rephlex around the time of the Newbuild reissue. AFX decided the "Flow Coma" remix would go on the first Men Records single instead, so New Order: Acid House Mixes didn't come out until the time of Prebuild's release. Though this EP appears to be a New Order release, it was produced by the efforts of 808 State and Rephlex Records. These are acid house style covers rather than remixes. The "1988" on the EP cover refers to the early 808 State team of Graham Massey, Gerald Simpson, and Martin Price. Track A published by Be Music, administered by Warner/Chappell Music Ltd. Track B published by Be Music and Shakin' Baker Music, administered by Warner/Chappell Music Ltd. Pressed at MPO Averton. Made in England. Distributed by:- UK - SRD USA / Canada - Forced Exposure Australia - Inertia Japan - JVC Germany - Neuton / Rough Trade France - La Baleine Benelux - Lowlands Italy - Wide Records Poland - Sonic Scandanavia - VME
