Arranger / Conductor of Spoken Word, Children's Music and Classical
A.k.a. Nicasio Tejada y Ramírez de la Piscina Maestro Tejada
Spanish conductor and arranger (Madrid, 1898-1971). Also credited as Maestro Tejada. He worked for Fabrica de discos Columbia (San Sebastián) recording company, of which he was later artistic director. He took care of the zarzuela recordings during a lapse of time in which Ataúlfo Argenta seems to have been retired due to health problems due to fatigue and stress during a few months of 1957. It was a link between the records of Argenta and those directed by Indalecio Cisneros and Benito Lauret. He also had a small orchestra with which he performed in nightclubs and fashion venues in Madrid in those years.
